I have always loved to make things.I became interested in rug hooking on a summer vacation to Door County which is in the upper peninsula of Wisconsin.I attended a workshop at The Clearing which is a Folk School on Ellison Bay. I was especially drawn to the wool dying process since I have an enormous collection of fabrics that I wanted to do something special with.I have been a quilter,knitter and loved embroidery and crochet from childhood, I had the best teacher ever,my grandmother.
